K-RAD accuses Gani Olaoluwa’s supporters of destroying campaign materials

The media team of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Osun Central Senatorial District, Kunle Adegoke (SAN), popularly called K-RAD, has accused supporters of the Accord Party candidate, Aare Ganiyu Olaoluwa, of destroying its campaign materials.

The media team, in a public notice, said an incident captured in a viral video, where Adegoke’s posters were allegedly defaced by the Accord Party candidate’s supporters, amounted to political intolerance and a threat to peaceful democratic engagement.

The team called on Olaoluwa to prevail on his supporters to desist from removing or destroying billboards and posters belonging to political opponents.

“If this continues, we may be compelled to take further action through lawful means,” the statement read.

The K-RAD media team stressed that political campaigns should be centred on ideas and development plans rather than destruction of opponents’ materials.

The team noted that candidates should focus on what plans they have for the people, practical measures to achieve them, and how their policies would improve lives.

It urged all political parties and their supporters in Osun Central to embrace issue-based politics, mutual respect and tolerance, insisting that democracy thrives on healthy competition.

“Osun deserves issue-based politics, not political hostility. Let the people decide through the power of their votes,” it added.

Meanwhile, in a video circulating online, posters of the Accord Party senatorial candidate were seen pasted over those of the APC candidate.
