Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on Monday, signed the 2026 budget into law.
osun.life reports that the state House of Assembly last Wednesday, passed the budget, totalling ₦723,454,988,670.00 into law.
The Assembly noted that the budget tagged “Budget of Economic Transformation” was passed after detailed consideration by the House Committee on Finance and Appropriation. Contributions from relevant Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) were also taken into account.
In a short video obtained by osun.life, the governor was flanked by his deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi, the speaker of the House of Assembly, Hon. Wale Egbedun, Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Professor Ademola Adeleke and the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun, Mr Sunday Bisi.
