The Olobu of Ilobu, Oba Ashiru Olatoye Olaniyan, has commended Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State for approving the establishment of Aromiwe Community High School in the Idi-Kaka area of Ilobu, Irepodun Local Government Area.
The monarch, in a statement on Wednesday, expressed profound appreciation to Governor Adeleke and the State Ministry of Education for granting approval for the new school.
Oba Ashiru said the approval goes beyond establishing another school, noting that it represents “a meaningful investment in the future of our children and the socio-economic development of Ilobu Kingdom.”
He particularly commended the Honourable Commissioner for Education, the Permanent Secretary, and other ministry officials for their professional assessment and for acting on the recommendations following the ministry’s inspection of the proposed site.
The Royal Father also acknowledged the state government’s commitment to deploy teachers to the new school and provide additional infrastructural support.
He lauded the Aromiwe community for complementing government efforts toward the development of the institution.
“On behalf of the Ilobu traditional institution and the people of Ilobu, we assure the Osun State Government and the Ministry of Education of our continued support and cooperation to ensure that this new school becomes a centre of academic excellence,” the Olobu said.
He called on parents, community leaders, and residents of Aromiwe and Ilobu to embrace the opportunity and enrol all school-age children in the new institution.
Oba Ashiru expressed optimism that the approval would usher in “a new chapter of educational advancement and greater opportunities for the younger generation.”
