2027: Taiwo Oluga resigns as NASC Southwest Commissioner

A former federal lawmaker, who represented Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan Federal Constituency, Hon. Taiwo Oluga, has tendered her resignation as the Federal Commissioner (South West) of the National Assembly Service Commission.

In the resignation letter dated March 31, 2026, the former lawmaker said her decision was in line with President Bola Tinubu’s directive on public office holders with political aspirations ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

She appreciated the president for giving her the opportunity to serve under him.

“It has been a great honour and privilege to serve in this capacity under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR)and to contribute to the growth and strengthening of our democratic institutions.

“I remain deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve and for the support of colleagues and stakeholders throughout my tenure.

“I am also profoundly grateful to our leader, His Excellency Dr Adegboyega Oyetola, the Minister of Blue and Marine Economy and the Governorship candidate of our Party in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO)for unwavering commitment to the party,” Oluga said.
