Oriolowo mourns Late Islamic Leader, SOB Babalola

The Senator representing Osun West Senatorial District, Senator Adelere Oriolowo has condoled the family and the Islamic community over the demise of frontline Ede born Islamic Leader, SOB Babalola.

Senator Oriolowo’s message was contained in condolence release signed by him, a copy which was made available to osun.life.

The Iwo born politician extended his sincere condolences to the immediate family of Alhaji Babalola and all Muslim faithfuls who are at loss over the death of the accomplished businessman, who lived a fulfilled life in service to others.

“Alhaji Babalola lived a fulfilled life and left a legacy of compassion and peace. It is my earnest prayer that the Almighty Allah repose his soul and grant him eternal rest.” he said.

Alhaji Sakariyahu Babalola, the Deputy President-General of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), died yesterday at the age of 87.

Alhaji Babalola, who was also the President-General of the Muslim Ummah of Southwest Nigeria (MUSWEN) is a recipient of National honour, Officer Order of the Niger (2008).
