The Osun State government has built a public secondary school in the state capital, Osogbo, with 72 classrooms of 40 square metres to sit 49 students each, six offices, six laboratories, 18 toilets for girls and another 18 for boys, library, a bookshop and a sick bay.
The Osogbo Government High School to be commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari today is one of the 20 high schools built by the administration of Governor Rauf Aregbesola in addition to the 50 middle schools, and 100 elementary schools across the state.
The Director Bureau of Communication and Strategy in the Office of the Governor, Mr. Semiu Okanlawon, told Daily Trust that Buhari will commission the school which was built for children from poor families, and showcase his giant stride in the education sector in the state
