A community healthcare centre has been commissioned in Isedo Community of Ila Orangun in remembrance of Chief Bisi Akande’s late wife, Omowumi.
Late Mrs Omowumi Akande passed away on July 14 2017 at the age of 73. She was the wife of former interim National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Governor of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande.
During her lifetime, she massively engaged in women and youths empowerment programmes and numerous philanthropic gestures.
In light of this, a healthcare Centre was equipped and commissioned in remembrance of the Late former first lady of Osun State.
Typical services to be offered by the Heath care center includes Treatment of minor diseases and infections, family planning, postnatal services amongst others.
