The murdered officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Ogun State Command, Lasisi Oluwamayokun, and her daughter, Adesewa, were interred on Friday in Osogbo, Osun State.
It would be recalled that 38-year-old Oluwamayokun and her daughter were reported missing on the morning of Sunday, November 2, 2025, after they left their residence at the Obasanjo Hilltop Estate, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, and never returned.
They were found dead in Osun with Oluwamayokun’s manfriend, Victor Fajemirokun, later arrested by the police, and when paraded before journalists, explained why he lured the duo to their death in the hands of some herbalists in Osun State.
Fajemirokun, aged 40 years, was paraded alongside two herbalists, Gboyega Daramola and Sunday James, at the headquarters of the Osun State Police Command in Osogbo.
At the burial service held at the burial ground of St John’s Anglican Church, Ita-Olookan, Osogbo, her colleagues and family members could not hold back tears as the remains were lowered
