Foremost technology expert and Managing Director of Sidmach Technologies Nig Ltd, Alhaji Hassan Alao, and his wife, Alhaja Eunice Malomo Alao, has been installed as Asiwaju and Yeye Asiwaju of Erin-Osun.
The coronation and installation which was held on Friday at the Erin-Osun town hall had dignitaries from all walks of life across the country.
The Elerin of Erin-Osun, Oba Yusuf Omoloye, who performed the installation as part of the activities to mark his 40th coronation anniversary, described Alhaji Alao as a rare and great son of the town, whose love for it is unparallel.
“Alhaji Alao is a passionate and ever proud indigene of Erin-Osun, he is a philanthropist who loves to assist people. It is as a result of this that God continues to lift him up and will continue to do so. God Almighty that has been lifting him up for many years will never bring him down”, the traditional ruler prayed.
Asiwaju Alao who was born on the 5th of February, 1957 is a seasoned administrator/technocrat, he has committed over 3 decades of his life towards technological advancement, societal development and humanitarian emancipation.
He is an affiliate member of the Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (AFCPN), a member and Honourary Fellow of the Nigeria Computer Society (FNCS), a fellow of Association of Corporate Governance Professional s of Nigeria (FCGP) and a life member of the Institute of Directors of Nigeria (M.IoD).
Asiwaju Hassan is a devoted Muslim who has been promoting the advancement of Islam everywhere, he is a member of Ansar-Ur-deen Society (ADS) of Nigeria and current Chairman of Solutions Branch, Lagos. He was recently elected as Vice Chairman Ansar-Ur-deen Society Lagos State Council Executives.
He has been honoured with prestigious merit awards from various Islamic Organisations in Nigeria, it is in this light that Asiwaju Alao was honoured with the title: “Aare Musulumi of Erin-Osun land”
To add colour to the event, music legend Musiliu Egunjobi with his live band performed to entertain guests.
