The lawmaker representing Osun East senatorial district, Senator Francis Fadahunsi, has announced plans to embark on a tour of local governments across the district ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Fadahunsi, who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Industry, disclosed this on Monday in Ilesa while addressing leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun East.
The Ilase-Ijesa-born lawmaker said the tour would focus on grassroots mobilisation, strengthening party structures and direct engagement with constituents through door-to-door campaigns.
He urged party members to remain united and committed, while highlighting the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his own interventions as Senator, and the efforts of other elected representatives in the district.
The Senator also pledged to work closely with all APC candidates in Osun East to ensure effective coordination and collaboration ahead of the polls.
He stressed the need for collective efforts among leaders, stakeholders and members to take the party’s message to the grassroots.
Speaking at the meeting, the Osun State APC Chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, who was represented by the State Treasurer, Hon. Femi Kujembola, commended Fadahunsi for his commitment to the party and sustained engagement with its leadership.
According to him, the party is working to secure victory for all APC candidates in the state.
