The lawmaker representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo Federal Constituency, Rep. Bamidele Salam, has secured approval for electrification projects in five communities across his constituency.
The beneficiary communities are Awere Koko in Ede South Local Government, Iragberi in Egbedore Local Government, Oguro in Ejigbo Local Government, Ifeoluwa Community, Owode in Ede North Local Government, and Egbedi Farm Settlements in Egbedore Local Government.
Rep. Salam, who disclosed this in a projects update posted on his Facebook page on Monday, said the projects were part of interventions he facilitated in the 2025 federal budget and would commence soon.
“I am glad to report that we have secured approval for the following electrification projects which will commence in our Federal Constituency very soon by the grace of God,” he said.
The federal lawmaker urged other communities awaiting electricity transformers and other interventions to be patient, assuring that more facilitated projects will come on stream soon.
