The Accord Party has declared its readiness to win the August 15, 2026 governorship election in Osun State, urging residents to vote massively for its candidates, Senator Ademola Adeleke.
The national chairman of the party, Maxwell Mgbudem, said the governor has delivered well in his first term and deserves the support of the people to continue the work.
Mgbudem stated this on Friday when the party’s state chairmen paid a courtesy visit to him at the national secretariat.
He also called on Nigerians to identify with Accord ahead of the 2027 general elections for inclusive governance.
Mgbudem charged members to remain united, saying the party is building a stronger political platform with national appeal.
He added that he is open to advice and counts on the cooperation of leaders and members to achieve the party’s goals.
He urged the state leadership to focus on building a viable structure that will deliver all Accord candidates in the upcoming elections.
He also warned members to disregard activities of anti-democratic forces seeking to cause division within the party because of its growing acceptance.
