Teachers and school administrators in Osun State have been invited to submit ideas for transforming basic education through the Osun Education Innovation Challenge.
The competition, sponsored by Dr Dipo Awojide, popularly known as Ogbeni Dipo, is calling for entries of 200 words outlining practical solutions to improve primary and secondary education in the state.
Participants are to submit their ideas via https://forms.gle/kD1WE57S3qq9L1qR6.
Awojide who is a Chartered Management Consultant, said the challenge focuses on Learning Outcomes, Teachers’ Welfare, School Infrastructure, STEM Education, and Digital Literacy.
He noted that the initiative is designed to tap into grassroots insights from educators who understand classroom realities.
“Let’s inspire the next chapter of education in Osun,” Awojide stated.
A total of N1,000,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to the top four entries with the 1st place getting N400,000, 2nd place, N300,000, 3rd place, N200,000, and 4th place, N100,000.
“Winners will be announced at the Osun Education Policy Townhall scheduled for 20th June 2026 between 1:00pm and 3:00pm,” Awojide noted.
He added that the competition provides a platform for teachers and administrators to move beyond challenges and propose actionable solutions that can influence education policy in Osun.
