Comedian and content creator Mr. Jollof has publicly backed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
In a video seen by The Nation, Mr Jollof reiterated that he and members of his community would support Tinubu with their full chests.
He stated that the president would not leave office until 2031.
According to him, part of the reason for their support was Tinubu’s marital ties to the community through his wife First Lady Remi Tinubu, whom he described as a chief and one of their own.
“We’re Supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Re-Election In 2027 With Our Full Chest. Tinubu Is Our In-Law Because His Wife Is a Chief Here And One Of Our Own. Tinubu Is Leaving Office In 2031,” he said.
