Two 400 level students of computer science in the Osun state University, Eke Samuel and Akinduro Robert, have been reported missing on Monday.

The missing students were said to be studying in Osogbo campus of the institution.

According to a source, who is close to the students, they were to meet a friend, identified simply as ‘Pariise’, who lives around Ogidan area in Osogbo on the 29th of August, 2016 for his assistance on their final year project work around 11:30 pm.

He said they were able to get details of the place the missing students last visited when they looked through the chat history of the mercenary (Pariise).

Pariise, as fondly called by the students, was reportedly invited for interrogation by the family unit of the Nigerian Police. He was said to have been transferred from the Oke- Baale police division to the State Investigation Board.

It was learnt that the parents of the missing students have also arrived Osogbo the day after they were reported missing.

The mother of one of the missing students, Mrs Eke, said she would still meet the management of the school and the whereabouts of the students would be unravelled.

Akinduro Henry, who is a sibling to Akinduro Robert, said the whereabouts of his brother was yet to be known as they were still on the look out for a clue.

The relations of the missing students have also appealed to security agents in the state to intensify efforts on the issue at hand.

The Representative of the Osogbo campus students, Seyi Famigbayan, also confirmed the incident to our correspondent.
