Adekanola Desmond, an aide to the All Progressives Congress, APC, House of Representatives candidate, Hon. Ibrahim Taofeeq Kayode (ITK), has accused the incumbent lawmaker representing the constituency, Rep. Adewale Adebayo, of failing to execute any road project in almost four years in office.
Desmond, while appearing on Western Spring Television on Friday, said the lawmaker has not tarred a single road across the federal constituency despite having access to constituency project funds.
According to him, “For nearly four years in office, the incumbent representative has failed to execute a single road project across the federal constituency using constituency project funds,” he said.
He challenged the lawmaker to address the critical infrastructure needs of the constituents, stressing that constituency projects were meant for such interventions.
“They have constituency project funds, and I expected him to have done that through his constituency projects,” Desmond added.
