Toma Enya takes over as 18th Osun NSCDC Commandant

Commandant Toma Enya on Monday assumed duty as the 18th Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Osun State Command.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASC I Kehinde Adeleke, disclosed this in a statement.

Enya was redeployed from Ekiti State Command. He takes over from Commandant Igbalawole Sotiyo.

After the handing-over ceremony at the State Command Headquarters, Sotiyo led Enya on a courtesy visit to the Government Secretariat, Abere were they where received by the Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi.

During the visit, Commandant Enya pledged to strengthen intelligence gathering and collaboration with other security agencies in the state.

Responding, Deputy Governor Adewusi welcomed the new Commandant to Osun. He assured him of the state government’s full support to enable the Corps to effectively discharge its statutory responsibilities.
