The All Progressives Congress, APC, has said it is fully prepared for the August 15, 2026, governorship election in Osun State, with plans to take its campaign directly to the people.
Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, disclosed this in a recent interview with Channels Television.
Uzodinma stated that the party will be on ground to engage voters ahead of the poll.
“We are going to go to Osun. Democracy is government of the people, by the people and for the people,” Uzodinma said.
He explained that the APC’s approach will be people-centred, with party leaders campaigning across the state and allowing residents to make their own choice.
“We will go to Osun, we will campaign, speak to the people, and we will allow the people to decide what is appropriate for them as a government,” he added.
The PGF Chairman noted that the APC believes in democratic ideals and will respect the will of Osun voters in choosing the next administration.
