The lawmaker representing Osun East Senator Francis Fadahunsi, on Wednesday, met with the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola.
According to a statement by the Senator Head of Media and Public Enlightenment, Omole Oluwasegun, the meeting was to discuss the All Progressives Congress’ roadmap and President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The statement added that the meeting focused on strengthening the APC in Osun, the implementation of the Electoral Act, the upcoming general election, and continuous voter registration efforts.
Fadahunsi, who is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Industries, during the meeting expressed admiration for Oyetola’s leadership.
“I commend our leader, HE Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola, for his exemplary leadership and dedication,” the statement quoted the lawmaker as saying.
The statement further added that the forthcoming Osun governorship election was discussed during the meeting with confidence that the party primaries will be peaceful and that all aspirants will abide by party rules.
