The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Mr Gboyega Oyetola, on Friday, donated 20million naira to launch a book authored in commemoration of the 15th coronation anniversary of the Ataoja of Osogboland, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji.
Speaking during the launch ceremony, the Minister who was represented by the Executive Director, Marine Operations, Nigerian Ports Authority, Engr. Olalekan Badmus, felicitated the monarch on the landmark coronation anniversary.
He prayed for continued divine guidance, wisdom, and knowledge on the life of the monarch.
Oyetola said, “I am happy to witness this occasion laden with euphoria, excitement, and celebration galore in honour of our father, the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Abidemi Oyetunji Olaonipekun Larooye the 2nd.
“As a sign of my heartfelt wishes to the coveted palace, I am donating N20million to launch this book authored in celebration of Baba. I pray Almighty Allah continue to imbue our Kabiyesi more intellect, divine guidance, wisdom, and knowledge as he continues to lead the great sons and daughters of Osogbo in particular and residents of the state capital in general”.
