Jegede emerges new Osogbo Tennis Club Captain

Osogbo Tennis Club 1991 has yesterday elected a new captain and other executive members to pilot the affairs of the club for the next two years.

The new captain and other executive members of the tennis club were unanimously elected by all the members present at an election that took place on the club’s premises.

Speaking on behalf of the elected officers, Adekunke Ogedengbe, the club’s reelected President thanked members for their overwhelming support and promised to lead the club to greater height.

A former Special Adviser on Lands to the Governor of Osun State, Dr. Isiaka Owoade, in his remarks, described the emergence of Jegede as a good thing for the club.

“I am fascinated by Jegede’s emergence, he is a committed tennis player and I’m also counting on him to use his corporate experience and network in moving the club forward” he concluded.

Abiodun Jegede, a Regional Manager at Sterling Bank Plc, is holding his first position at OTC since joining the noble club in 2014.

Other elected executives are Niyi Oguntunde, Vice-Captain, Kunle Araoye, General Secretary, Omolola Sangolana, Assistant General Secretary, Afeez Dere, Financial Secretary, Yinka Olorundare, Treasurer, Victor Oni, Social Secretary and Kolapo Badru, Auditor.
