A Chieftain of Action Democratic Party (ADP) in Osun State, Prince Dotun Babayemi, has told President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and all other elected officials in the country to use their various offices to better the lot of Nigerians by initiating programmes that would raise the standard of living of the people like their counterparts around the globe who are benefiting from a working government.
Prince Babayemi made this known earlier today while congratulating Muhammadu Buhari and Yemi Osinbajo as President and Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for a second term in office and all the 29 state governors who are being inaugurated today.
In his words, the Development and Security Expert said “Nigeria is bigger than everyone of us and the focus from now should be on how to make her great”
“It is not only the responsibility of the elected, but also the citizens”
“The citizens of this great nation deserve better, just like their counterparts around the globe who are benefiting from a working government”
While wishing them well, he urged all those who took their oath of offices today to use that very rare privilege to positively affect the lives of the people.
