The All Progressives Congress has appointed former Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adejare Bello, as Co-Director of its Directorate of Stage Organisation and Management for the 2027 presidential campaign.
The appointment was contained in a fresh statement announcing the creation of a new directorate and minor adjustments to two others by the Secretary of the Presidential Campaign Council, Governor Hope Uzodimma.
The statement noted that the Directorate of Stage Organisation and Management was created to strengthen planning and coordination of campaign events.
According to the statement, Dr. Farouk Adamu Aliyu will serve as Director of the new directorate, while Rt. Hon. Adejare Bello will serve as Co-Director.
It would be recalled that the campaign council was inaugurated in Abuja last week with a charge to members to commence grassroots mobilisation for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
