The Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC, Osun State Chapter, has congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his re-election in the August 15, 2026 governorship election.
The state chairman of IPAC, Dr Tosin Odeyemi, in a statement, commended Osun voters for coming out peacefully to exercise their franchise.
The council also applauded INEC, security agencies, the media, civil society and other stakeholders for ensuring the people’s will was reflected in the results.
IPAC said the outcome of the poll was an endorsement of Adeleke’s first-term programmes and a renewed vote of confidence in his administration.
The group urged the governor to run an all-inclusive government in his second term.
“Governance should transcend party lines. The talents, ideas and goodwill in the opposition and among technocrats, women, youths, persons with disabilities and traditional institutions must be harnessed for the good of Osun,” the statement said.
IPAC further advised that appointments, projects and policies be distributed equitably across the three senatorial districts and the 30 Local Government Areas, including the Area Office.
According to the council, no community should feel left out if peace and development must be sustained.
