The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, has again thrown shade at the lawmaker representing the town at the Federal House of Representatives.
The monarch, while hosting the campaign committee of Mr Bola Oyebamiji, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the August 15 gubernatorial election in Osun State, suggested that the lawmaker has not done well.
Although, Oluwo did not mention the lawmaker’s name, he however, said he has not performed well compared to his colleague representing Obokun/ Oriade Federal Constituency, Hon. Wole Oke who led the team to his palace.
The monarch said, “When someone claims that there is no money in Abuja and that he even incurred debt, why is that person seeking a second term?
“He claims that they don’t give them anything there. If he incurred debt, he should not seek reelection.
“It was when Wole Oke did well that his constituents voted for him again. If he did not take care of his constituents, he would not be voted in for five terms.
“If Oluwo did not establish a town, who are you going to represent? As a representative, you have to take care of the monarch first who will then tell his subjects that you are doing well.”
