The chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, has said the state cannot afford to continue with ineffective governance and that his party is ready to present a people-centred solution.
Lawal stated this in a statement on his Facebook page where he announced that he held a strategic meeting with the campaign Director General of the APC, Hon. Wole Oke alongside his team and members of the Executive Committee of the party on Saturday.
The APC chairman said the meeting provided a platform to assess the current political landscape, review campaign structures and align on clear and result-driven strategies ahead of the forthcoming election.
According to him, “Deliberations at the meeting were frank and forward-looking. We critically examined the prevailing governance challenges in Osun State, particularly the gaps in leadership, policy direction, and service delivery that have continued to affect the well-being of the people.
“It was unanimously agreed that the state cannot afford a continuation of ineffective governance, and that the APC must present not just an alternative, but a credible, people-centred solution.”
Lawal said the party is fully prepared and resolute in its mission to restore purposeful leadership and good governance in Osun State.
“With a unified structure, experienced leadership, and a clear development agenda, we remain confident that the APC will reclaim the mandate of the people and reposition the state on the path of sustainable progress,” he added.
