The lawmaker representing Ede North/Ede South Egbedore and Ejigbo Federal Constituency, Hon. Bamidele Salam, has donated four 500kva electricity transformers to communities in the constituency.
The communities are – Inisa in Ejigbo, Iragberi and Hallelujah in Egbedore and Sawmill in Ede South.
According to the lawmaker,
Inisa community in Ejigbo local government had been without power supply for more than one year due to a faulty transformer.
He also said Iragberi, Sawmill, and Hallelujah communities have also been badly impacted as a result of reliance on very old, epileptic electricity transformers.
He added that the donations were part of the intervention projects he facilitated through the 2025 Federal budget.
The lawmaker in a post on his Facebook page, said, “Today, we continued our community support interventions by presenting brand new 500kva electricity transformers to four communities in our Federal Constituency.
“One of the communities, Inisa in Ejigbo local government had been without power supply for more than one year due to a faulty transformer while Iragberi in Egbedore, Sawmill Area in Ede South and Hallelujah community also in Egbedore have also been badly impacted as a result of reliance on very old, epileptic electricity transformers.”
