Governor Ademola Adeleke, has urged corps members serving in the state who will be participating in the forthcoming gubernatorial election not to yield to intimidation or undue influence.
The governor also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the safety and welfare of Corps members.
Adeleke made this known on Wednesday during the visit of the Osun State NYSC Coordinator, Mr Ekeng Kubiangha, and his delegation to the Government House, Osogbo.
He emphasised the importance of sustaining a cordial and productive relationship between the scheme and the state government and commended the contributions of corps members across critical sectors of the state.
“Let me assure you and all Corps members deployed to Osun State that your safety remains a top priority for this administration.
“We will continue to work closely with security agencies to ensure that you operate in a safe and secure environment. I urge you to carry out your responsibilities with diligence and integrity, without yielding to intimidation or undue influence,” he said.
Earlier in his address, the State Coordinator, Kubiangha, expressed appreciation to the Governor for his youth-friendly disposition and sustained support for the Scheme.
