The gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, in the August 08, governorship election in Osun State, Mr Bola Oyebamiji, has congratulated a chieftain of the party, Chief Shuaib Afolabi Oyedokun on the occasion of his 91st birthday anniversary.
In a statement he personally signed, Oyebamiji described the nonagenarian as “an encyclopedia of Nigerian politics and a rare gift to mankind”
The APC governorship candidate, acknowledged Chief Oyedokun’s political prowess, administrative acumen and outstanding repository of knowledge from which many had benefited saying “You are a compendium book of knowledge, wisdom and intellect that we all study.”
The former Commissioner for Finance hailed the celebrant’s immense contributions, unquantifiable efforts, tremendous support and selfless services to the growth and development of the party in the state and beyond.
He described the Inisa-born Chief as a political living legend, a successful professional and astute politician of no equal means.
“Celebrating our highly revered Baba, an elder statesman and political icon, Chief Shuaib Afolabi Oyedokun on a special day like this is to give glory to Almighty Allah for sparing his life to witness yet another prosperous year. No doubt, our father and leader, Chief Oyedokun is a rare breed, an epitome of excellence, integrity, dignity, loyalty, capacity, hard work, selflessness and humanity personified whose repository of knowledge has contributed significantly to the successes of the party in particular and humanity in general.
