The leadership of Boluwaduro Local Government have urged primary school teachers and health workers who were recruited under former governor Gboyega Oyetola but got dismissed by the present administration to come for verification.
A statement by the media assistant to the chairman of the local government elected under the All Progressives Congress, Saheed Omokanye, said the affected people should report to the council secretariat on Monday, 19th January 2026.
The statement, however, does not state whether the message was for those from the local government alone or all the sacked teachers and health workers.
“The general public is hereby informed that all individuals who applied for and were offered appointments as Primary School Teachers during the tenure of His Excellency, HE. Adeboyega Oyetola, as well as Health Sector staff who were duly recruited and confirmed successful during the same period but were later disengaged under the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke, are requested to report for verification.
“Affected applicants are to report to the Council Secretariat, Boluwaduro Local Government, Otan Ayegbaju, on Monday, 19th January, 2026.
“All concerned persons are to come along with their original appointment letters and any other relevant documents for identification and verification purposes. This exercise is mandatory, and prompt compliance is advised.”
