The Akire-in-Council, alongside the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Irewole Local Government, on Thursday, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola, at his country home in Iragbiji.
The visit, according to report was to appreciate the former governor of Osun State over the emergence of Mr Bola Oyebamiji, as the APC flag bearer for the 2026 election.
They described the choice of Oyebamiji as a great honour and a well-deserved recognition of competence, loyalty, and dedication to public service.
The delegation, during the visit conveyed their gratitude and appreciation to Oyetola for his leadership, guidance, and unwavering commitment to the progress of the party and the development of the state.
In his response, Oyetola thanked the delegation for the visit and assured them of his continued commitment to the unity, growth, and strength of the party, urging all stakeholders to remain peaceful, united, and focused on collective progress.
