A gubernatorial aspirant under the All Progressives Congress, Bola Oyebamiji, on Friday, held a meeting with the leadership of Alubarika Movement, a socio-political group founded by the National Secretary of the party, Senator Ajibola Basiru.
Speaking at the event held at Alubarika House, Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, lauded the efforts of the tendency in promoting cohesion and unity within the Osun APC.
The governorship hopeful also commended the party’s National Secretary for his strides in ensuring that the APC remains a solid entity ahead of the forthcoming elections.
He sought the collaboration of the Alubarika Movement, urging members of the group to work with him in actualising his dreams of ruling the state.
Oyebamiji said, “I am glad to be among very distinguished eggheads who have shown themselves to be committed, patriotic, and dedicated members of our great party.
“The Alubarika Movement has been one of our strong pillars in the party. In fact, Mr President has continued to praise SRJ for his efforts, which he noted have strengthened the APC across the federation.
“As brothers, we have come to remind ourselves of the duty that we owe to send bad governance away from our dear state in the 2026 election. Let us join hands and work together, so that we can correct the tenets of bad governance and return our state to the pedestal of progress and prosperity,” Oyebamiji noted.
Earlier in his remarks, Chairman of Alubarika Movement, Alhaji Kehinde Olamolu, appreciated AMBO Movement for the visit.
He said the movement is deeply committed to the electoral success of the All Progressives Congress in the 2026 and 2027 governorship elections.
Olamolu, who also reechoed the need for unity in the party, urged Oyebamiji to fulfil his promises to party members, and the citizens of the state when elected.
