The member representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo Federal constituency of Osun State at the National Assembly, Hon. Bamidele Salam has announced that he will give education grants to students in the constituency as part of activities to mark his second anniversary.
Salam who is the Chairman House of Representatives Committee on Public Accounts stated this in a post on his Facebook page.
Salam bursaries, scholarships, textbooks, notebooks, school bags, grants to student bodies, and the Nigeria Union of Teachers will be given on Tuesday 16, September, 2025.
Salam is serving his second term at the Green chamber after being re-elected under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2023 general elections.
Apart from the grants, the lawmaker said he will also be commissioning projects in various parts of Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo.
Also, Salam added that on Wednesday, 17th September, women, entrepreneurs as well as artisans in the constituency would be given grants and material support.
