Nigerians now taking ownership of President Tinubu’s vision – Babayemi

One of the gubernatorial aspirants for the 2026 election in Osun State under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Dotun Babayemi, has disclosed that Nigerians are now taking ownership of President Bola Tinubu’s vision for the country.

The Gbongan-born politician stated this while addressing journalists after visiting the 100th ward out of the 332 wards in Osun as part of his consultation tours.

The APC chieftain said what he noticed in most of the wards he had visited was that people now appreciated the impact of President Tinubu’s policies on the economy.

According to him, “We are now at the 100th wards out of the 332 wards in Osun and what we’ve found out is that people in different areas are now impressed that they now have full knowledge of the vision of Mr President for Nigeria.

“They are now beginning to take ownership of that vision of a better tomorrow. The renewed hope agenda is not just at the federal level. Our people at the grassroot must have an understanding of the intentions of Mr President and our party in taking Nigeria forward.

“The reception in the places we’ve visited has been varied. Some people actually told us that they want Mr President to know that they have seen the impact of his policies on the economy. Some of the farmers from Osun said they have received a phone call from God has sent by President Bola Tinubu.”

The gubernatorial hopeful, however, said the President’s vision must be adopted at the state and local government levels.

“We know there is still a lot to do but the party to do it is the All Progressives Congress, not just at the federal level. We have to cascade that vision from the federal level to the state and local government,” Babayemi added.
