Osun 2026: Babayemi Advocates Strong Unity For APC

Omooba Dotun Babayemi, a governorship hopeful on the crest of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, has pleaded with members of the party across the state to continue to maintain a solid front in order to ensure its success at the coming election in the state.

Babayemi whose popularity has continued to soar in his bid to get the party’s governorship ticket for the state’s 2026 election, added that the unity and the cohesiveness of the party should not be compromised.

He made the pleas during the continuation of his consultative visit to elders and stakeholders of APC in Ife-South/Ife-East and Area Office, Modakeke.

According to him, the party would triumph if all members could join hands together, admonishing that mudslinging, character assassination and destruction of any type must be avoided.

He said this phase would go,the party, the state and its people would remain, advising those seeking power at all levels to always be considerate in their pursuits.

In their separate responses, leaders and chieftains of the party in the areas, commended Babayemi for setting a worthy standard for others to follow, noting that his peaceful disposition to politics and others related things, was worthy of emulation.

Among those who received him at Ifetedo include a member of Agba Osun, Chief Fakunle, who was represented by Alhaji Remi Arogundade, the councils party chairmen, Babatunde James and Oladokun Gbenga; former House of Assembly members who include Hon Bamisaye Folorunso, Yinusa Adebisi, Ben Ogundipe and Ajibodun Julius.

Also at Ife-East, Babayemi was welcomed by Sooko Kemade Kunle, Sooko Lekan Omidiora, Hon Akinwale Omilaj, Alhaji Ayoola Olafinraye, Alhaji Akinwole Dauda, Hon Segun Adeyemo, Chief Akantioke Awotide and Hon Ganiyu Odetunde.

Similarly at Modakeke Area Office, the popular governorship aspirant was heartily received by leaders of the party amidst pump and pageantry.

They include Alhaji Fatai Kolawole, Chief Sakin Ajala, Alhaji wahab Olowoagalu, Dr Wale Amusan, Hon Wale Popoola, Hon Mojeed Lawal who is the LG chairman and Hon Goke Adebowale, the party Chairman.

Others at the event tagged as homecoming for Babayemi, were Chief Kolawole Bisiriyu, Bar Wole Animasaun, Hon Dixon, Hon Mayowa Oyelade, Mrs Ayanwole Anifa, Hon Ololade Bukandi and Hon Olaleke Lawrence
