The Honourable member representing Ede North State Constituency at the State House of Assembly, Kofoworola Adewumi, has eulogized Governor Gboyega Oyetola over his pick for the Corps Commander position of the Osun Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps.

Adewumi who doubles as the Minority Leader of the 7th Assembly praised the governor during the plenary sitting of the Assembly where Brigadier General Bashir Adewinmbi, was screened as the nominee for the position of Amotekun Corps Commander.

The Minority Leader said “I give kudos to Mr Governor for nominating Brig Gen Adewinmbi as the Corps Commander of Amotekun. This shows that the Governor’s satellite is working perfectly.”

“He is a diligent officer who has given his best to this Country and I am confident of his ability to do much better for his home State.”

“He is our son and leader in Ede who has contributed selflessly towards the development of Ede and Osun at large. His appointment is indeed a round peg in a round hole.” He concluded.

The nominees for the position of Chairman Governing Board and Corps Commander are expected to be confirmed this week by the Osun State House of Assembly.
