The Member representing Ede North/Ede South/Egbedore/Ejigbo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Bamidele Salam, has congratulated Teachers all over the world on the occasion of the 2019 World Teachers’ Day.

Speaking via a press statement made available to newsmen by his media office, Salam said, “I felicitate with Teachers in every nook and cranny of the world on this occasion of the World Teachers’ Day.”

Eulogizing the Teaching Profession, he said “Indeed, yours is a profession that has kept the world in constant growth due to your tireless impartation of knowledge. Your continued efforts had led to a functional world populated by many enlightened and illuminated minds who are today able to solve global problems.”

“I am certain that we all need to appreciate you more, encourage you in every way possible and ensure that your rewards are not just in heaven but also enjoyed on Earth”, he said.

Salam, who is a Teacher and a School Owner himself, stated that he understands the rigors of teaching while also trying to keep up with personal pressures. This understanding according to him, “makes me sure, that we must do more as a people to put smiles on the faces of our Teachers.”

He enjoined people at all levels to do more in giving Teachers a better life and more reasons to continue committing to the cause of Education.
