OAU rejects JAMB official cutoff, says School’s cutoff remains 200

The office of the Registar, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile – Ife, Osun State has announced the official cutoff mark for 2019/2020 admission as against the outcome of the policy meeting held last week in Gbongan, Osun state.

This was disclosed by the Secretary to the Registrar, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife, Mrs Omosule who said that the cut off mark of the Institution has remained 200 and nothing will change it.

She also said that any OAU aspirant who scores less than 200 in the last JAMB is there by not eligible for admission into the higher institution of learning.

She further disclosed that the University Administration Office will soon release the departmental cuffoff for 2019/2020 admission.

Recall that the meeting which was held in Gbogon in Osun State last week had earlier set the cutoff marks for Tertiary Institutions across the country for 2019/2020 admission unanimously agreed that 160 is the benchmark for admission into federal for 2019/2020 academic calendar.

The meeting which was presided over by the JAMB Registrar, Mr Isaq Oloyede with other stakeholders in education also approved 140 for Private Universities, and 120,110 and 100 for Public Polytechnics, Private Polytechnics and Colleges of Education across the country.
