The Independent National Electoral Commissioning (INEC) on Wednesday, 3rd of October 2018 issued certificate of return to Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, the governor elect of Osun State.
Oyetola had emerged winner of the September 22nd and 27th governorship election in Osun State after a rough battle with the PDP governorship candidate, Senator Nurudeen Adeleke who came second at the polls.
The certificate of return was issued to Oyetola by the Director of Legal Services, Mr Oluwatoyin Babalola, who represented the Chairman of the Commission, Prof Mahmood Yakubu at the INEC office in Osogbo, the capital city of Osun State.
Oyetola however thanked the Commission for conducting a credible election and promises to deliver progress and development to the people of Osun State.
