The Chief Executive Officer of Rave 91.7 FM, Prince Femi Adefila, has described financial poverty and poverty of ideas as a major factor to the increase in human trafficking in Osun State and Nigeria.
He said this while delivering a lecture in observance of the UN World Day against trafficking in persons, organised by NAPTIP zonal command in Osogbo, titled ” Trafficking in persons: Nigerian efforts and the uncomfortable truth”.

The guest speaker also suggested possible solutions such as, awareness on all media platforms, creation of employment opportunities for youths amongst others.
Also speaking at the event was the NAPTIP Zonal Commander in Osun State, Mr. Aganran Alao. He gave kudos to the incumbent government of Osun State and the efforts of media personnel since its inception in July 2017 in Osogbo.
