Police name siblings who drowned in Osun river

THE Osun State police command has given the identity of the two siblings  who were last weekend drowned in Osun river in Osogbo the state capital.

 

The state police public relations officer, Folashade Odoro in a statement in Osogbo yesterday gave the names of the deceased as Taofiq Adeyeku, aged 16years and Mustapha Adeyeku, 11yrs.

 

According to the police both victims hailed from Erin Oke in Ori Ade LGA of Osun state. The police confirmed that the bodies of the deceased have since been recovered and deposited in the government hospital at Asubiaro in Osogbo for autopsy.

 

It will be recalled that the deceased who were on holiday from Lagos were on Saturday drowned in the river while playing football.
