The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in Osun East Senatorial district, Prince Adenigba Fadahunsi, yesterday, said the soul and heart of the former deputy governor of the state, Senator Iyiola Omisore is still in PDP despite his alignment with the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the last governorship rerun election in the state.
Fadahunsi, who said this while speaking with newsmen in Osogbo, maintained thatthere is no way Omisore could jettison PDP.
He described Omisore as formidable as ever, saying he is a beautiful bride in the circle and expressed optimism that there is still enough room for alliance and reliance before his election next year.
He insisted that Omisore would not work against his ambition, saying thatOmisore, who has aligned with the APC, is a brother, whose support he can stillcount on.
“Omisore’s interest is still in PDP and his return to PDP is still certain. With the ongoing alignment and realignment, people will see what will happen before the coming election,” he said.
Pledging hiscommitment to the service of the state, he said, “I promise that myrepresentation will guarantee abundance of life and prosperity. I willencourage human development, I will encourage agriculture and create employmentfor the youths of my district and scholarships would be given to the students.”
