There was an outpouring show of love and support at the evening of honour organized for the House of Assembly Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Odo Otin State Constituency in the forthcoming elections, Prince Adeyinka Michael Adetoyi (AMA).
The programme organised by “the Gladiators”, was part of activities heralding the campaign of the APC Candidate in next year’s February elections.
Speaking at the event, the Candidate, commended the Community for finding him worthy of such honour, an elated and humbled Adetoyi promised the good people of Odo Otin a quality and excellent representation.
Welcoming the decamping members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Jimoh Asa, the Chairman of the APC in Odo Otin LG, said it is important for the people of the LG to align with the party at the State and Federal level to avoid marginalization.
Delivering the keynote address, a former Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adejare Bello, echoed the need for the party, the APC, to dominate next year’s State Assembly so as to help and fast track the policies and programmes of Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
Dignitaries at the event include Hon. Tope Adejumo, Former Special Adviser on Security to the Immediate Past Governor of Osun State, Hon. Segun Olanibi, APC Chieftain, Oba Kilani Adekeye, the Oloyan of Oyan, Hon. Akeem Seriki, Odo Otin LGA Chairman, Alhaji Jimoh Asa, Odo Otin APC LG Chairman among others.
