The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the House of Representatives seat of Ede North/Ede South/Egbedore/Ejigbo Federal Constituency, Barr. Bamidele Salam, has enjoined the people of Osun State to exercise caution in all that they do as the end of the year 2018 approaches.

In a press statement made available to our correspondent, Salam advised residents of the State to tread cautiously as the year end approaches, to avoid the dangers that often characterize the end of a year.

According to him, “we are in a period when people are under pressure to achieve certain feats before the new year begins. This general rush heighten the dangers of this period and we must therefore live cautiously at this time.”

“Persons who have to navigate the roads must drive carefully, pedestrians must be safety-conscious at all times and we all must strive to make sure this December ends without casualties or losses”, he continued.

Speaking on the General elections coming up in 2019, Salam said “the elections will present another chance for us to elect the right candidates into office. It will be our chance to get our Federal constituency, our State and our Nation working again. This is our collective responsibility.”

He then wished all Osun residents and indigenes a blissful 12th month of the year, praying to God to grant them long lives and peace of mind.
