INEC results shows we are leading with 551 votes – Aregbesola’s Aide

The Media Adviser to the Osun State Governor, Mr Sola Fasure, has disclosed that his Party, the APC is leading with 551 votes according to initial results made available to them.

Mr Fasure made this disclosure while featuring on a Yoruba current affair programme “Agba Oselu” on Rave 91.7Fm in Osogbo on Monday.

Fasure noted that the results made available to them from the polling unit level to the local government level shows clearly that the APC is winning with a margin of 551 votes.

 

He stressed that they have been receiving congratulatory messages from various people including the opposition that have alleged them of rigging their way to power.

In his word Fasure said “The results starts from the polling unit level to the ward and the local government level, from the results that was signed by our agents and INEC observers before it will be electronically transmitted to the headquarters shows we are winning with 551 margin. All these result have been handed to us and everyone all over the world has seen it”

“Many people all over the world have been congratulating us,even the opposition has alleged us that we rigged it, but suddenly when they arrive at the collation center, where result will be announced, that was how our votes has been reduced and we are not happy about it we just accepted because we are in power” Fasure added

It could be recalled that the Saturday Governorship election was declared inconclusive because the margin 353 which the leading party PDP that polled 254,698 and the runner up APC with 354,345 votes is smaller to the total number of cancelled votes 3864 votes in 7 polling units across 4 local government.

However, the rerun election will take place in 7 cancelled polling unit across 4 local government area of the state on Thursday 27th September 2018.
