Osun 2018: Durotoye dumps PDP for ADP, becomes Adeoti’s running mate

By Femi Adesola

One of the Governorship aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Professor Adeolu Durotoye, has dumped the party for the Action Democratic Party (ADP).

Durotoye confirmed this to our reporter in a telephone chat, that he has also been picked as the running mate to Alhaji Moshood Adeoti.

This latest development can be connected to the allegation by the Ogunbiyi camp against the Adeleke’s camp for refusing to cede the Deputy governorship slot to the Ogunbiyi camp which Durotoye has been lined up for.

Recall that Professor Durotoye stepped down to team up with Dr Akin Ogunbiyi at the July 21st PDP primary election which they lost to Senator Ademola Adeleke by 7 votes.

However, the Action Democratic party (ADP), has been absorbing defectors from both the ruling APC who lost about 6000 of their members to the party and recently from the PDP.
