A bill to establish a Federal College of Agriculture has passed through second reading at the lower house of the Nigerian National Assembly, the House of Representatives.
The bill, sponsored by Hon Oluwole Oke, representing Ijesha North (Obokun/Oriade) Federal Constituency at the Federal house, came up for hearing and successfully pass through the second reading.
Oke, a third term member of the Nigerian House of Representatives, has started his re-election bid to return to the house.
The bill to establish the College of Agriculture which will be situated in Ijebu-jesha of Oriade local government has now been referred to the committee on Tertiary Education and Services for further legislative decision.
