Int’l Financial Advisor joins Osun Guber race, berates APC’s half salary regime

A United Kingdom based financial expert, Mr Babatunde Olaniyi Loye, has officially declared his Governorship intention to succeed the outgoing Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

Loye, who declared amidst pomp and pageantry, stormed the Accord Party Secretariat, Ogo Oluwa area in Osogbo, the capital city of Osun, with friends, families and party supporters.

Babatunde Olaniyi, a philanthropist and thorough bred administrator is also the President, Central Association Of Nigerians in UK, a Non Government group that has donated relief materials to IDP camps in the North – East region of Nigeria.

The governorship hopeful, who bemoaned the modulated salaries initiative of the present regime, promised to stop the reign of half salaries and pension if elected as Governor of the State.

The aspirant while reeling out his campaign manifesto promised to focus on Women and Youth Empowerment, Agricultural Development, Foreign Direct Investment, Social Welfare of the citizens of Osun State if elected as the governor come September 22nd.

He also emphasized on equal dividend of democracy amongst the masses and politicians in occupying public positions, which will be the first of its kind in the history of Osun State.

In his remarks, the Chairman of Accord Party in the State, Otunba Ayodele Fanibe therefore appealed to residents to obtain their permanent voter cards to enable them vote for ‘Oneness and Progress’.
