The coordinator of the “Youths for Change Initiative”, Comrade Damilare Ojeyinka has said Senator Olasunkanmi Akinlabi Abdulrasheed will give the good people of the Osun West Senatorial District a good representation if he is elected as the senator.
This he said in an interview with osun.life in anticipation of the forthcoming by-election for Osun West Senatorial District slated for July 8th. The seat which became vacant following the demise of Senator Isiaka Adeleke.
Comrade Damilare stressed that Senator Akinlabi, while representing Osun West Senatorial District from 2003 to 2007, really proved he is a man of the people as seen in all the projects he embarked on and was able to accomplish them satisfactorily.
He further stressed that Senator Olasunkanmi, while he was in office, was able to facilitate the sinking of 37 Federal Government Assisted Hand-pump boreholes in all the Local Government Areas of the Senatorial District, disbursed N1,000,000 to the Aged above 70 years in all the wards in the Senatorialband District, gave N20,000 bursary award per student in each of the 110 wards in the Senatorial District and facilitated the sitting of Federal Medical Centre at Odeomu among other numerous achievements.
He concluded by wishing Senator Olasunkanmi all the best in his bid to become the next Senator of the Osun West Senatorial District.
