The people of Osun State have been told that the present hardship being experienced by them will soon become a thing of the past.
This was the word of the Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party Dr Bayo Faforiji in a statement made public by the Director of Media and Publicity of the party Mr Idowu Afolami.
Dr Faforiji urged the people of the state to ensure that they fully participate in the coming voters registration as it is the only way to get themselves out of the political and economic crisis in the state.
According to him all indigenes of the state who have attained the voting age and who haven’t registered in the past should ensure they register whenever the exercise commences.
He stated that their voters cards are their legitimate weapons to send away the satanic rule of this administration in the state.
In the same vein, the former chairman of the appropriation committee in the senate, Senator Iyiola Omisore has assured the people of the state of his readiness to use his connection to bail the state out of its economic doldrums.
Senator Omisore who is a consultant with World Bank and IMF said he would use his international connection to ensure that people of the state enjoy good things of life again.
“It saddens me whenever I see my people wearing long faces as a result of the avoidable hardships heaped on them by APC government in the state”
He described as pathetic the huge amount of debt incurred by this government, without anything to show for it.
He equally asked the people of the state to register during the coming exercise and utilise their votes to send these political marauders out of the state.
